Yeah, well ... until the problem goes away, the discussion of it will not.

As for the new regs being excellent - that's kinda subjective. For the people who wanted more thrust in order to fly their draggy scale aircraft, I'm sure the reg's are great. For the people who got screwed as part of the price that was paid for others to get more thrust, it aint necessarily quite so great. Furthermore, if the current reg's are so great, then why is that that I keep hearing from so many people (and even from some of the most publicly vocal supporters of the new reg's) that they intend ignoring the 200 mph limit ? Even those who publicly praise the new rules frequently point out in private that some of those great rules are in fact nonsense.
