I think I'll go ahead and order the replacement for the steering horn. That way I have it just in case. I was pretty sure that futaba and hitec horns were not compatible. To test my theory, I'll remove the hitec servo and see if the broken duratrax (futaba) servo gear fits snug without sleeping.

I'll probably set the car aside for today anyways I've got a plane thats almost finished.
