most engines do have a set 'range' or props. The Evolution shold be no different.

The engine manual should detail the prop size range. and a 10-6 sounds about right for a .46 sized engine, on a trainer. You might want to go a little smaller in pitch, which will help 'slow down' the plane..

The Evolution comes with a weight, that acts as a fly weel, so you can use their special 'training prop'. At least, that's what I understand. And no, from what I also understand, you do not require it for 'regular' props. And yes, you should have a 'regular' prop washer / thrust plate..
