You're right, the servo horns are not compatible. I'm using a HiTec 645 servo in my Evader and I'm using an aluminum servo arm with the ball turned 180 degrees around. This has worked fine for me for months of hard running and racing. The Futaba horn will work for a short period of time before stripping out.
