Default YA Stingray

I test flew my YA Stingray this last weekend and had a "hairy" first flight. All control throws were set as recommended in the YA manual. However, at the aileron settings recommended the plane was so sensitive in roll axis as to be almost unflyable. I managed to get the plane back down and set three rate switches to 40%, 55% and 65% of the original manufacturer aileron throws. The plane flew nice and stable at at the first two but was getting to be a handful on the 65% throw. I would like to hear from other Stingray owners if they had similar problems. I cannot understand why YA recommends those aileron throws? [:@] Although, elevator and rudder as per the manual seemed fine.

Apart from the "knee-trembler" first flight the plane flies very well and is fast. Mine is powered by a Wren 54 running at 150k RPM. At full taps it was v.fast but flew nice and stable at half throttle. Landings were made without the airbrake (I did not have time to test it) and were very fast. Luckily I was flying at a full size runway!

I like the plane alot and it is a "keeper". All I need to do is put some high viz stripes on the plane to make it easier to see, especially side on.
