RE: two stroke .74 fox wont idle
I talked to fox mfg. today and they said some engines were sent out with the grove cut to deep and in fact that those engines would suck air around the front bearing, they do not reccomend J.B.welding the grove due to loss of luberication to the bearing. I asked if a sealed bearing ( one side only) would be the cure and they said yes, but they haven't found a bearing that was narrow enough (.218) they say that most mfgrs. widen the bearing just enough to add seals. I've found 2 bearings on boca bearings website that may work, will post futher progress. cal.45acp
