3-DFlyer - the bottom is stock, I have done nothing to it... looks like it did out of the box.

As far as peeling the decal... it was time consuming, but oracover is incredibly strong stuff, so it came off without tearing the covering. The residue left behind was then removed with paint thinner and a rag. Again, it took some time and patience, but it all came off and with no damage.

Hand starting the G-26.... I don't waste my time on any mag engine. I have a small magnum gear drive started that turns it over very easily. Starts fast. Like you said... hand starting a steak knife is no fun. One kick back (common on mag engines) and you have missing fingers.

I should maiden it tomorrow AM... I'll let you know.

Are you getting the Kangke monocoupe 90?? I have one - the G-26 is the best fit in that too!! I have a whole bunch of posts on that plane in RCU. search on 'desertpig' as author...
