I have a JETI JES 40-3P controller and LMH Basic 3100 motor

The manual in German is different from the manual in English)

Is the following procedure correct ?

I connect the battery
I switch on the transmitter
I put the stick to full trottle 100%
I switch on the JETI and before I hear the "beep" I put the stick to zero trottle.

And do I have to do this each time I connect an other battery-pack?
