I am currently finishing off the dynaflite super cub. I agree with Luvbipes, it isn't very scale. The cabin section has some areas for improvement. The main front fuselage former that adds the strength for the wing is around an inch thick. This really shows through the canopy. I trimmed my down to nearly nothing and then epxoied a carbon fiber rob in its place to simulate the tubing on the real one. There are several other places that needed improvement to the make it look better.

On the flip side, the Dynaflite kit builds pretty quick and easy. I enjoyed building this one and can't complain. I haven't flown mine yet but have heard it flies pretty good. If you are looking for true scale appearance, the BUSA kit is a great start. If you are looking for something a little cheaper (I got my super cub kit from tower, on sale for $102), easier to build and one that flies a little better, go for the SIG or the Dynaflite.

My dynaflite will be powered by a US 41 with an ignition system. More power than is recommended, but this engine combo is still lighter than the gassers dynaflite recommends. I have two 12oz fuel tanks in series. I am using the larger Dubro cub wheels to simulate tundra tires. Scale features include a nice looking cockpit with awesome looking black leather seats sewn by my wife. I added a scale folding door and window on the right and a slide down window on the left. I also added a few things here and there for appearance. I plan on covering it with some light weight ceconite fabric left over from covering our full scale cub and using the left over paint too. If I get really ambitious, I may add real rib stitching, otherwise i will just go with glue under the pinking tape.
