OK Guy's here are my final test results on the four types of Rustoleum I used. Remember I am using only 15% fuel for testing.
Rustoleum
1. Standard Gloss white covering Polyester material with two coats of Nitrate dope. Past test. Let 15% fuel sit on it overnight.
2. Auto Primer Lt. Gray covering Polyester material with two coats of Nitrate dope. Past test. Let 15% fuel sit on it overnight.
3. American Home Flat Brown covering Polyester material with two coats of Nitrate dope. Past Test. Let 15% fuel sit on it overnight.
4. American home Satin clear coat covering two coats Ft. Brown over two coats nitrate dope on polyester material. Past Test. Let 15% sit on it overnight.
All of these Rustoleum paints past the test with good results. With 15% raw fuel being left on them over night it did cause some miner color distortion, but when cleaned up with windex glass cleaner the color distortion was very miner. The paints did not bubble or peel.
I plan on using the rustoleum flats for my 4 star 60. I will post a picture of it when I have it finished.
Thanks to all of you who have look and this. I hope this has helped some of you. I know going thru these test sure has helped me.
