Yes the tractor should be no problem.
However Byron setup does require a hollow top and bottom fairing, I used to supply but 99% of modelers are told to use tractor.
So I redesigned the Regal Eagle.
You can Mount the fan in the fuse sides and sheet over and under, I have done this.
When I sell a new kit the instructions show how to do this, I think you should be ok to just sheet over the fan.
We sell top and bottom fairing but I don't think you need to spend the money to get it, A bit of balsa modeling skill and you have it made.
Thrust tube is needed in the Regal Eagle, We sold hornets without it but that was because of the taper in the fuse. This did caus some confusion (sorry).
