Why bother you say? I was going to read you the riot act for giving up on that bruised up aerobird fuselage!!! That's not the way of a true modeler!

To the best of my knowledge, the Aerobird servos are "standard" GWS Pico servos. Not for nothing, but you probably could've just replaced the bad servo with a GWS Pico, and it would be as good as new.

That leads me to a flight pack recommendation. A GWS flight pack for the Slow Stick would be ideal for a Frankensteined Aerobird chassis.
