There hasn't been an Eagle produced in that size since Pilot Models discontinued theirs back in the 80's In any case, an Eagle in the small size range can be a real handful to fly. The larger ones fly much better and easier.

The G/P Pitts and Eagles, though 1/3 scale, don't really fall into the "giant scale' catagory. You can still power them with large 2 strokes if you don't want to do all the gas stuff. Gas is better, from my point of view, but not required.

Both planes fly great.
