RE: Best & lightest way to attach wing skins?
Latex and sorgum are similar products. Its a contact type glue that has to have both surfaces preglued and then let it tack dry before applying. It is heavier then using urethane and a little trickier to adhere. Last time I used it was in 1974. Pro-Bond or Ultimate urethane by Elmers will work on any of the white foam we use for sheeting wings. Never had a problem with it and it has excellent adhesion qualities due to the foaming action. I think 500 lbs is a bit extreme in weighing it down. I have done it with as little as 200lbs with good results.
