As long as the voltage and mA hour ratings are right.

I assume you're talking about an FM transmitter with an 8 cell pack, so the wall charger should have an output of 9.6 volts, and 50 mA's. But! the transmitter battery can't be more than 500 or 600 mAH pack for it to work.
