With a 2 stroker, it's probably gonna be tail heavy. A Satio 65, or 72 would probably balance it near perfect.

I'm using a TT .46 2 stroke in my same size KYOSHO "Z", but solved the balance problem by mounting the battery pack on a bracket, slung under the engine. The battery pack is insulated from the engine by air, and is completely hermetically sealed. If you want to go with a 2 stroke, your idea of a Irvine 53 might be a good one.
