Default RE: Can battery get wet and still be reliable?

A battery pack tried to commit suicide by jumping off my Zagi at about 100 feet from the ground and landed in 3 feet of snow. Of course I was not able to find it then, but found it 2 month later on the beach after the snow melted. The velcro separated from the glue (tape), yes the velcro separated from it's own tape leaving two pieces of velcro in the plane and the tape or glue on the battery pack. Must be due to the cold weather. I've let the pack dry and cycled it. It still had 75 % of the charge and came right back to over 100 % it's capacity. BTW, the orange ribbons on my Zagi packs are now 3 feet long instead of one.

When it happened, I thought I had hit a bird and really tried to fly the Zagi down. The funny thing was that a few times, while the Zagi was floating down, I really thought I was controlling it ? I call that mind power[:@], you guys should try it.
