I have mine inverted with a hole just big enough for the head to pop out and another big enough for the silencer and have ZERO cooling probs...

I believe there is only extra power in the S for hot / humid conditions more likely in the USA... its not just about temerature heat but humidity aswell..

In other words you get a bit of power back lost by the existing engine at the top end under extreme temp conditions...
