Hey, here's just a small suggestion: you might could look into a Hitec/Funtec Sky Scooter Pro 2 it can fly stable and do mild aerobatics for $180 more or less. Better yet I found that I could fly mine in 1/2 the space I would fly my Firebird 2. 3D planes really would be a handful! The Sky Scooter is made of foam and you can USUALLY fix it with hot glue, but I only crashed mine bad one time. I recommend removing the pull-down safety switch incase you put it down on a roof or in a tree that way you might could throttle it out of it. It's 3 channel Throttle/Aileron/Elevator handlaunch/belly land (or hand-catch! what fun!) Comes with everything but 8AA batteries. It was about the best experience I had.
