automan......sorry to hear that...i can relate. I did the same thing to mine....too gusty and was actually trying to land when it stalled out @ 15 feet and nosedived into the ground...2 feet from a bush that would only have broken my wing. But the hard impact loosened my controller board....just an FYI for you. make sure it isn't loose.

I consider that field cursed earth now......bad mojo.
