Hi every one.

When I was in my mid teens I bought an eaglet from my friend, it was needing some serious repair but the price was right. $30 bought me a 4 ch radio, a .20 OS engine, and some broken bones to mend. I really have to admit I really enjoyed resurrecting the plane. Unfortunately the plane never flew (very long), after months of repairs and watching another pilot making core samples over several trips to the field I was disgusted with myself.

About 10 years later I've gotten the urge to give it another go. I've ordered an Eagle 2 with an OS .46 LA, while I am building that Ill be saving my pennies for a Futaba 6-Exa. I figured this should be a decent set up to get started with. I how ever have down loaded the FMS simulator and used a Saitek X36 controller for inputs, my was that a sobering experience.... I think I crashed a years worth of income and build time in a matter of hours... I *was* debating the idea of joining the local club, but now its not even a question. I'm almost a little put off by the simulator, but I've got a kit in the mail so I'm dedicated to it for now.
