i must admit.i've never used ca hinges .i've always used the dubro pinned hinges.and prob will on the u-cando.After i epoxy them in,i always drill a hole in the top of each hinge and and push a toothpick in the hole and glue it.Just over kill but i feel much better about the hinge staying put.
