You should note that the suppliers of the ignition you are talking about do not fully guarantee ( printed clearly on their site) the use of their products on chainsaws & trimmer type engines etc. and say that you are on your own if you do.

CD type ignitions are well known to be suitable for these applications, and there are at least two American companies offering these, (mentioned earlier on this thread), which are reliable and reasonably priced, ( a little more expensive if you buy the electronic advance unit, - not always necessary).
