Actually, recent HBZ1012 batteries check out comparably to ones rated at 1000+ mAh (remember, the part and part #'s were created over 3 years ago)... It is just too much work to change the part #'s in the system. You probably won't be 'blown away' by 3rd party 1050 packs.
