Definatley get ball bearings to start out. Then a good ESC, then an aluminum idler gear, and then i would get about a 15 or 16 turn motor for it. I have a 16 turn double (trinity chrominum)in my stampede, and it wheelies like crazy, and still tops out at 24mph, and that is geared low at 13/84! I would also get a better steering servo, and then you should be set to run forever with some good batteries.
