Default RE: servos help

The E-Starter is a little bit too responsive to be a good first plane, but if you have help from someone with a bit of flying experience, you might be able to pull it off.

When you go shopping for radios, you're going to find that most of them come equipped for much larger airplanes. You can purchase a setup like this and sell off the large gear, you can set the gear aside for later projects, or you can purchase a separate transmitter.

Pico and Naro refer to model names of GWS servos. Any Horizon Hobby dealer, such as the one that sold you the E-Starter can get GWS servos and complete GWS flight packs. You will definitely want to get the GWS flight pack for the E-Starter, either GWS2040 or GWS2045, depending on the transmitter brand you get.

Individually, you'll need the following:
- GWS ICS100 or GWS ICS300 speed control
- Three GWS Naro servos
- GWS R4P "Pico" receiver
- Receiver crystal to match the channel of your transmitter
- GWS 7.2V (6-cell) 600mAh NiCd or 8.4V (7-cell) 730mAh NiMH
