I know several people who use motorized tools, but they use the ones with adjustable torque settings so they don't overtighten something. I use a dremel quite often for body work and mods. Other than that I use various hand tools (Losi, Dynamite, Kyosho, etc.) and I have used the smaller "mini" 1/4 ratchet and sockets to remove things.
