Default RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

I was jonesin' to buy a HYPE 3D arf, but after reading some of this long thread, I figured you guy's were having a lot of fun with 1/2 the price, so I got me a UCD46..............despite the all the hype from the HYPE lovers/UcanDo HATERS![X(][sm=thumbdown.gif]

I just pulled my good-and-broke-in YS 63 outa my beaten and battered Morris the Knife, which I owe (both plane and engine) to helping me learn 3d!

I've got about a dozen tail touch and goes (from hover of course) under my belt, almost as many elevator/harrier/tail touch landings, some waterfalls(as good as a Knife can do) and bunches of flat spins, knife edge, harriers etc. and consider myself decent at hovering, but not rock solid consistant yet, and even a couple inverted touch and goes. Pretty much all in one season (I love this 3d thing)

So........ I owe profile planes and the rcu profile forum guys for helping me get this far (thanks). But I'd like to give the patternesque/funfly/more realistic plane thing try.

Here's my question;

This being my second 3D capable airplane, and my 1st non-profile 3D plane..............what should I expect in flight characteristics compared to a Morris Knife? Are there any "bad habits" I've picked up flying the knife, such as being spoiled by it's forgiving super slow stall speed? In other words, how should I fly a UcanDo different from a profile?

Also, I mentioned the HYPE guys claim the UcanDo isn't too stable in harrier mode..............after reading a lot of this forum, but not all (my eyes were getting tired) it sounds like spoilerons help. If so, what %?

I'm glad to hear that standard servo's are doin' the job. I love Futaba's due to low cost, light weight, and quality! I've got enough of the 3003's but no 3004's, and I run a five cell (6v) Nimh pack. This worked great in my Knife. Are the 3003's (non-ball bearing) good enough or do I need to spring for 3004's for the Ucando?

Any help would be awesome, thanks![sm=thumbup.gif]
