RE: The twist is here!
rdracer,
an APC 12x4 or 12.25x3.75 would be a good starting point. I just made the switch over to APC props and although they're less durable(I had two break clean off at the hub with just a rough landing), they're quieter and provide a little more thrust than the Master Airscrew I was using of the same size. Throttle response seems better, and there seems to be less of a delay from the time I snap the throttle open to the time the plane gets moving.
I am still waiting to hear a detailed report on the Twist. I'm debating between it and a UCD .46/60.
I've got a Magnum XLS .46 in the Magic, I assume that the power/weight ratio won't be quite as good(in the Twist) as the Magic?
I'll definitely have to put matching yellow strips across the bottom of the wing for orientation. So far the only dislike I have is that the canopy is an ugly yellow tint, and the area behind the canopy(turtledeck?) has stringers and looks bad, JMO.
