Weighed my UCD.............. I'm not talking! I need a second opinion from another scale. And if I don't like those results, I'm going to the post office. If the first scale is right, I'm going to need some prozac.

David, David, David, You sound as though your mind is made up as to maidening this much labored project, with a 6" CG. If it works, good for you, you won't have to go through the hassle of moving it back later. If it dosn't, did you consider how the degree of hassle spikes through the roof? That is 1 1/8" beyond the recomended on a .60 size craft. At 5 5/8" aft is about where you begin needing to land with down elevator. After that you flat out need to force it down. Its not a comfortable situation to be in on a plane that you have never flown. Its not easy to get used to on a plane that you are very familiar with. Just food for thought. Good luck, we're in your corner. I usually maiden mine on my buddies full scale air strip. Its so long that in the event of imediate trouble you can set it down without any turns involved. Joe
