OK, So it was a Great Weather day in Rochester NY and I got to take a couple planes out to fly... Had my son on a buddy box and he did great Flying my Eindecker. A new guy to RC who I know who hangs at the local hobby shop ( great guy ) was there, he has his AMA, but only has flight time on the GP simulator... I took him up on the buddy box he did a great job at first... After about 5-6 min of flight I got a little over confident with him let him get too low to the ground and not sure what happened, but he got the plane pointed straight down and I couldn't pull it out.... Had to dig the engine out of the ground... Stupid on my part... Next time keep it high... It's the Instructor on the controls who has ultimate control of the plane... Lesson learned... Good thing... It's just a airplane and another one is on order and will be here next week. The comedian in the pic is my son... He told me I had to get another one... He loves to fly it!
