Default RE: Looking for a new WARBIRD!!! WHAT DO U RECCOMEND?

Rage 59,

The advice you are getting here is probably the best but I am sure you have friends that can help you most of us have different ideas about what is a good warbird and which ones are not. I have been building warbirds for many years like these fellas and each warbird is a challenge. it also depends on how the budget is, when you start getting into the 1/3 scales like myself it starts getting expensive, and stopping short of selling the wifes jewerly you have to save.

Electric scale, I agree with the above comment there are many types on the market again ask someone you can trust as alot of people in hobby shops do not understand what you want and you end up paying extra money for accessories you did not require and walking out with something you did not want. the GWS models of the warplanes look good but remember they are foam and damage is inevitable and depending on your expertise, again advice.

ARF models are a quick and sometimes a cheap method of getting into the air but remember you are limited as to what detail you can add to these aircraft. I suppose at the end of the day what you think is entirely up to you the advice from us modellers would be endless and it will ownly confuss you, have a chat with your local club and friends who are into this hobby. I have had much advice from this web site and it has been worth gold. good luck friend hope to see a few pics of your eventuall choices.

All the best
Todd
