Default RE: CAP Pictures

Hi Lancair-RCU,

I took pictures of my OS61 rotated 90 degrees inside my World Models CAP 232. I trimmed out a circle for the glow plug and 2 offset circles to be able to get to get a finger over the air intake for priming and access to the needle valve using a piano wire extension. I also cut out a fuel line view port to be able to look at the fuel line feeding carburetor. I also have a small excess hole above the needle valve set screw for piano wire extension for the allen wrench. I used a dremmel tool with a very small metal mill bit to trim out the holes.

Since I haven't flown the plane yet I can't comment on how hot the engine will run in my set up. There is a full width gap at the bottom of the cowl that is about 5/16's wide. Maybe someone else can comment on my set up after viewing the pictures, what good or bad. It's my first cowl so I'd be curious to know.

Thanks Brad
