Default RE: The twist is here!

Anyone having problems with the wing bolt and blind nut not fitting right this is what I did to the Funtana (same company):

Heat up the blind nut with a soldering gun, at the same time keep a flat screwdriver in there prying at it. After about 30 seconds it heats up the hot glue and comes right out. Then go to the hardware store and get a 1/4-20 blind nut and a new nylon bolt. They will fit like a glove compared whatever they put in that thing stock. Use gorilla glue to glue the new blind nut in there. The teeth of the blind nut will line up in the old holes in the wood beam and your wing will be lined up just like it was when it came out of the box. Be carefull not to get gorilla glue on the threads as it expands. I didn't have any problems since I knew the glue expands and didn't put on too much. It holds like steel.
