Default Dave Patrick thrust issues?

I just flew my extra 330 this past weekend and while setting up for a torque roll the plane wants to fall out to the left before it starts to rotate almost every time. I will admit that I'm learning how to TR but I'm always good for at least two full revolutions before I fall out. It seems that maybe I dont have enough right thrust. I built the plane to specs but used a BME 44 for power. The manual says it has 1 and a half degrees of right thrust built in the firewall. Is this enough? I did'nt have this problem with my edge or my buddies 33% extra while torque rolling. One other note, when the plane starts to fall out I will feed it full right rudder but it still wont correct unless I throw some elevator in it. I do have at least four inches of throw in the rudder. I'm not sure why the addition of elevator helps. Once again, I have only had this problem on this plane. Please help.

Thanks,
Bruce
