SuperTigre 3000
I ran my converted SuperTigre 3000 for the first time today using a Just Engines Jen'C 19x10 carbon fiber prop with a hardwood core, the prop was perfectly balanced when I recieved it and remained so after enlarging the hole.
Using Davis ABC mix I got 6,040 rpm, I believe this prop is a bit much as the engine ran pretty hot and I could not get the exhaust residue any lighter than dark black even with the compression set barely above the point where it would miss. I'd like to hear from some of you fellers who have run the larger conversions. Even though the engine seemed to be running hot and the residue was very black it never showed any signs of distress, it looks like it may need to run in the 7's to operate more comfortably. Opinions please.
