never had the axs, but the 6exa is a great beginner computer radio-all basic computer radio functions and a programmable mix. the throttle stick gets stuck sometimes but that was fixed by taking the radio apart and gluing a small metal pin in place that slipped out. this probably only happened on a few because i have only heard of three people with that problem. search for it in the radio forum. otherwise its great. if you have money to spare, i would get the new 7 channel radio they have-just a thought
