I am looking to get my 1st float plane. I saw the Cessna 177 at the Toledo show, and was impressed. I live on the ocean, on Long Island Sound, and thought it would be great to fly from my back yard. I liked the fact that this plane was all plastic, to prevent rotting, and other water related problems. Anyone have anything to say, good or bad, about this plane, or any other other recommendations? Also, is there anything I should be concerned about flying it from salt water?
