Default RE: Pre-made foam wings for trainers?

Have you ever considered building a wing using 1/8" corrugated cardboard? It's inexpensive, readily available, strong, can take lots of punishment (which is why everything from RC radios to refrigerators are shipped in cardboard boxes!) and is easily repairable. The photos show my 60" wingspan P-51 control-line model built entirely of cardboard and the single spar wing design I use for wings with curved surfaces, like the P-51, and the semi-diamond shape I use for biplane wings. If you are interested in cardboard construction techniques & pics of other models, visit http://home.earthlink.net/~charlesfelton and let me hear some feedback. Regards, Chuck Felton
