Went out yesterday, It was blowing about 15-20mph. I had it just hanging in the wind over the runway about 20 feet up. Just above idle. I went to advance the throttle on my new Magnum .52XLS, it quit! And it came down. It hit pretty hard and nothing broke. The gear was bent up, I just straightened it out and is as good as new. As hard as it hit I thought for sure the whole front end was trashed. Nothing. This is a super strong plane. A ton of fun also. I put a Tower Muffler on the .52. It has so much power it is unreal. Still fine tuning the engine.
Sorry about the gear, but I guess you have answered my concern about the strength of the fuse at the front of the wing!
