RE: u-can-do 60
hi joe
ya man .i hear ya.I'm going to get my butt in gear but had to finish 3 planes i had started.I,m going to do maidens on 2 of the them this week and hopfully the 3rd next week .then the boards are clear for getting my u-can do built.I can't spend the time i really want in my work room.Got to keep the wife happy to bud.But then, all us married fellas do.
I'm putting a fs91 surpass 2 in it .strengthening the gear block;using dave brown fiber rods;and putting 3 degree right thrust in engine. In one of the posts,a different tail wheel assm.was mentioned and i'm going to use pinned hinges.Did i leave any necessary mods out.I will review the post again.prob take a good hour or so do to the great jobs you guys have done.Oh,i'm using hitec 645mg servos on all but throttle.
In my last post,i mentioned a wing dropping on my buddies u-can do.always left wing.I always balance my wings by finding the center line then sitting the wing on a dowl rod on that line.Is this the correct procedure.Seems to have always worked for me.
happy and safe flying to all. ken
