Experienced jet jockey friend of mine had both the T-33 and Lear from Kyosho. Neither performed very well out of the box, in fact both would barely fly. He converted both to Aveox 1010/2y and different fans, many hundreds of dollars later had something that would perform "as advertised". As an aside, another experienced acquaintance purchased the .15 glo DF powered Kyosho F-86. I watched numerous attempts to fly that lead sled, all of which failed. The first guy has given up electrics, moved on to turbines. Other guy is using the first guy's brushless motors flying "pusher jets". He threw the T-33 and Lear away. Told me other day the experience was becoming less happy every day ( after having Aveox throw magnets in flight ).

Bottom line, some mfgs just sell junk and as long as we continue to buy it they'll continue to shovel the cr*p our way. I know of at least three folks who'll NEVER purchase one vendor's product.
