People will always have the "MINE IS BEST" attitude. It's funny, when asked what the best vehicle is, people respond with what they bought. It doesn't matter what the other guy has, it's what they have. I think it has something to do with the fact that no one wants to admit that what they bought might not be the best. I agree with you about what you have. If it works for you and you're happy, it's the best!
