Sand,
I know a previous poster said something about Lock-Tite not working, but I have used the level-blue (242?) on exhaust bolts with no problem. I have in my head that the level-blue melts down at 375 degrees, and their is no way the exhaust manifold gets that hot.
There is also level-red (247?) Lock-Tite. This stuff melts at 500+, and can NOT be removed with out that high heat. If you use the red on anything...its there to stay.
I have also seen thread locking tape in some auto stores, but have never used it myself.
You can, of course, go ahead and upgrade the exhaust. There are thru-the-hull options (for a nice scale look) or even a dry header for added performance (and noise

)
Im going to continue to run mine for now, and keep a close eye.
As for an Enforcer boat, Tony is now about 4 weeks behind from time to order, to delivery.
Later...
