I tried red locktite and it worked fine. The exhaust hasn't come loose yet. But, I have the Pro Wet Tuned Pipe. You should try it with your canister exhaust.

Polstery, RC boats are a bit of work, I hope you didn't buy one and think your were not going to have to "tighten" some bolts up once in a while. []
