just because other games work plauge does not mean that reflex won't have issues with some particular problem. It remains to be seen what is going on. You could be having conflicts with your cheesy sound card (I have definetly seen that before). The direct X logs should give some clarity on the situation at anyrate. You may have sound issues, or it could be something else but until you produce the logs nothing can be ruled out.
