I tried red locktite and it worked fine. The exhaust hasn't come loose yet. But, I have the Pro Wet Tuned Pipe. You should try it with your canister exhaust.
"You should try it", meaning you should try locktite with your canister exhuast like I did with my Pro Wet Tuned Pipe.
And yes it does replace the canister exhaust.
