I was in about the same situation a few year's ago with the same questions. There's a lot more options now. There's CA type glues from super-thin up to thick. They're basically like what we called Instant or Crazy glue. If you aren't in a big hurry, you can also go with the yellow glues like SIG Bond glue. I think it's what's called Alphetic glue? (sic) Then for the high stress joints you can go with two-part epoxies. I use the 30-minute curing times for wing joints and firewalls and 5 or 15 minute curing for less stressed areas. Check out some of the online hobby stores or your LHS and see what they have. Wait 'til you see all the covering choices!
