RE: Reflex XTR help!
This is an almost comical thread, well at least if it wasn't trying to smear the rep of Reflex so hard.
FYI if you ever have a problem with any commercial game available 99% of the time they will ask you to print out your system spec's, and send them a report from directX. I don;t know what the problem is with sending this information, and why you are just now getting around to sending it is just silly. It is clear from these posts you do not want to work with WSN (and his company that makes reflex) to fix your problem, you just want to make him look bad. There are so many reasons why you could be having problems it's not even funny at this point, providing some information would greatly help in finding you a solution, it's almost like you are expecting him (WSN) to just throw you some simple pat answers so you can sack him when that does not fix the problem.
Your possible problems:
1. Your video card drivers, are you using the latest and greatest offical release from nvidia?
2. Your video card could barely meet the specs, and imho you should get a better card anyway. The MX series if just total crap, ask anyone about this card working with any game and you are likly to find this card is not worth the packing material it came in. I believe in the spec's of reflex XTR it pointedly says NOT to use the MX series because they don't work well. It does not even perform as well as a geforce2, and i would seriously have to question if it's even remotly directx 9 compliant.
3. Your soundcard is an off brand, and could potentially have conflicts, especially if they don;t update their drivers.
4. Your attitude needs a severe adjustment, . .wsn has asked for directx diagnostic results (still not given) and gives you another location to find more info (the message board for reflex), and all I see here is more grief poured out on the companies rep for no apparent good reason. I can understand about being at work, but it's been more than 12 hours since he asked for the logs you would think you might want to take a little time out of your busy schedule to resolve the problems. Heck everyone has a busy life, but really how long does it take to run a diagnostic and send the results . . . i'm thinking about 5 minutes tops.
5. To further complicate matters how the heck did you manage to snag a copy; XTR is certainly not available anywhere near where I live. You got it from a friend in the US?! are you sure your "friend" didn;t get you a hacked version, one would think the rep from Reflex would know weither or not his product is available or not.
