ah as long as my engines start first or second flick (yes, flick, I avoid starters) then they are fine, they transition fine and they work fine. So they are good in my book.

Most of the LAs I have seen are ok but one LA10 or was it a 15 was a bit quirky. The FX may be good but I'm going to try a few fourstokers anyway, I wouldn't really pay that much for a two stroke if I havn't used it before.

Bearing in mind we have to look at a large number of the same engine to really determine performance. Bad running in can effect an engine seriously.
